Education
A born-and-bred Houstonian, Laura Chiles brings a great deal of patience and a vast range of Texas knowledge to Compass. In her “past life,” she was a licensed social worker, bettering the lives of others at Texas Children’s Hospital, SEARCH Homeless Project and The Gladney Center for Adoption. As a social worker, Laura wore a smile each day and honed her extraordinary service and negotiation skills – the same skills that make her a natural fit for the real estate industry.
It’s not just Laura’s professional experience that gives her the edge as a Realtor. Laura’s civic involvement has taught her to be a true team player and has provided her with a remarkable network of contacts and resources. She is currently involved with Big Brothers & Big Sisters, Friends for Life (Memorial Hermann Hospital volunteer group), Young Texans Against Cancer and Friends of the Boys & Girls Clubs. She is also an alumna of Pi Beta Phi Sorority and an active member of St. Luke’s Methodist Church.
When Laura isn’t on the road with clients or volunteering her time and energy to help others, she enjoys traveling the globe, reading, doing anything outside and carousing with her dog, Phoebe.
