Kevin is the Regional Vice President for Northern California, including office in San Francisco, Marin County, Wine Country, the Peninsula, Silicon Valley, Sacrament, Tahoe and Reno, as well as Coastal Cities, Half Moon Bay, Santa Cruz and Monterey/Carmel. Kevin has been with Compass since its early beginnings in Northern California, guiding agents and staff through the cultural changes of pre-COVID times through the pandemic and now beyond! Throughout his tenure, Kevin has led with empathy and focused his attention on building the Compass NorCal Community through events, networking activities, training and workshops and fostering diversity, equity and inclusion, helping everyone find their place here. Kevin originated the nationwide "Let's Talk About Race" series with colleague Troy Cotton, and has ensured that affinity groups thrive throughout the region. Kevin has championed the local chapters of Women of Compass, Black at Compass, Out at Compass and LatinX, Indigenous People and AAPI at Compass. Kevin works with the regional operations staff to help agents navigate through the Compass platform, technology and myriad services and programs available that help make their experience at Compass the best it can be.
Prior to joining COMPASS, Kevin managed operations in Marin County for Vanguard Properties and before that for Coldwell Banker. He has held executive positions at the Marin Association of Realtors, and worked as an agent for two years prior to serving as sales manager. He was one of the first sales managers to be awarded Marin County Realtor of the Year in 2009.
Before entering the world of real estate, Kevin worked in the public relations field for 20 years as general manager for the San Francisco office Porter Novelli, an international public relations firm, as well senior positions for Publicis Dialog and Citigate Cunningham. Some of Kevin's client's have included HP, FedEx, Parker Brothers/Hasbro and Safeway, among countless other internet start-ups and technology companies at the height of the dotcom boom.
Kevin enjoy's merging his two business backgrounds to help agents position themselves and their personal brand in today's marketplace. He feels right at home with Compass melding the two worlds he knows well -- real estate and technology.
