About Katie
Katie is a native New Yorker who grew up in Carnegie Hill and attended the Brearley School and graduated from Saint Ann's. From an early age growing up in New York Katie was interested in the architecture and real estate surrounding her in the city. After receiving her BA in Economics from Trinity College in Connecticut she returned to New York City to begin her career.
Katie worked in advertising and marketing at Young & Rubicam for a number of years prior to entering real estate. She has a strong business sense that has supported her success in real estate. Working in account management at Young & Rubicam she learned how to coordinate and bring all of the pieces and parties together to efficiently work together to reach the common goal. She was able to translate that into real estate where it is so imperative to be able to work productively with other brokers, buyers, sellers, attorneys and management companies not only to have a meeting of the minds but to take it all the way through the multifaceted process of buying or selling homes in Manhattan. Even during the most complex deals she strives to make the process as smooth as possible.She uses her analytical abilities to devise a marketing plan with the best approach to sell each unique property. And when working with buyers she has a terrific ability to identify homes that appropriately target their desires and parameters and guides them to the homes that are the best fit. Also, Katie is keenly aware of the differences of each neighborhood and within each neighborhood block to block and building to building and knows the intricacies of different individual co-ops and boards around Manhattan.

Katie lives on the Upper East Side with her two boys and enjoys spending weekends upstate in the Millbrook, New York area.
