"I rarely write reviews but for Katie I am enthusiastic to do so. What can I say!? Kathleen (Katie) was an impressive professional throughout the entire home buying experience. I was referred to her while searching for a Real Estate agent to help me purchase a home for my upcoming move to the D.C. area. I was living in California at the time so I needed all the help I could get in finding the right home for my wife and I. Immediately upon contacting Katie, she quickly attempted to identify what kind of home I was searching for and provided prospective homes she identified. I was definitely not an easy customer as I could not make up my mind on where I wanted to live or even how much I wanted to spend (as this would be a temporary home). Throughout the process Katie was patient and kind as we worked together to get a list of properties I would look at when I flew to the area. Upon entering the properties is when Katie's skills really began to shine. She would point out numerous items that would need attention and help brainstorm solutions to any of the home's shortcomings. She was very upfront with me about items that could be realistically taken care of or that would be expensive fixes. This was a pleasant surprise as my past experiences with agents has felt more like a car salesman more interested on selling me the product than someone working to get the best home for me. She looked at over 10 properties in a day and a half while I was there. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to find a home to my liking during my trip and had to head home to California empty-handed. Always optimistic, Katie continued to bring homes to my attention and even visited properties to give me her opinion since I was back in California. It took a few weeks of looking but we were able to narrow down a property. Once we had identified the home to put an offer on, Katie was extremely responsive and helpful. Since I was across the country she was present for the home inspection and was quick to identify repairs that she believed we could get covered in closing costs. She kept me up to date as we went back and forth with the seller a few times before settling on a price. Katie continued her high touch approach throughout the closing process and went above and beyond to support my family and I, as our move was delayed a few weeks due to the military halting moves due to COVID-19. I would recommend Katie to anyone looking for a property in the D.C. area and have full confidence you will be impressed with her work ethic and professionalism."

"If you are buying a house you want to work with Katie. She smooths the bumps, makes the fun parts better and helped us find just the right place. She was the proverbial duck, working so hard in the background, but always keeping our part of it calm and enjoyable. Even when the seller realized they hadn't planned correctly (at truly the last minute) she helped us understand the shifting landscape, worked with all of the parties involved, and managed to bring things to a great conclusion.
