About Kate
Kate grew up in the wonderfully historic town of Oak Park, the first suburb west of Chicago. Growing up around the architecture of Frank Lloyd Wright gave her a solid understanding and appreciation of home design. Kate first became a member of the South Loop when attending Columbia College, where she graduated with a BA in Commercial Photography. She quickly started her career in sales right out of school, going to work for Getty Images, researching and selling photography to advertising agencies, publishing houses, and design firms. After one year of working in the Chicago office, Kate was transferred to the New York office. There she worked in the fast-paced environment three years, before a new opportunity presented itself back in Chicago. Kate continued working for Getty Images for another three years solidifying her ability to work as a vital two-way link between her clients and their needs for each individual project.

After 20 years as a real estate broker, Kate uses her skills in negotiation and customer relations effectively, finding the perfect home for every client. She is able to help her clients define and locate their dream home by taking the time to initially sit down and meet with them to determine both their needs and their wants. She is a licensed Real Estate Broker in the State of Illinois and a member of The Mainstreet Association of Realtors, and the Multiple Listing Service of Northern Illinois.

Kate settled down in the South Loop when she moved back to Chicago and has a vast knowledge of the neighborhood, the wonderful lofts, and condo conversions as well as the townhomes of Dearborn Park. Kate moved into West Town, an area of the city around Ashland and Chicago Ave. She resided there for 16 years and knows the neighborhood well. Currently, Kate calls La Grange home and loves the cute downtown area and metra access.

When not showing homes to clients you can find Kate volunteering at Old St. Pat's. She was an active parent at the FXW school in Chicago for 13 years. Currently, she is part of the Mount Carmel High School Mothers Club. GO MC! She also is a parent of a Nazareth Academy Roadrunner!
