"We worked with the reSolve Group first on the buyer's side and then on the seller's side and were extremely impressed every step of the way.

On the buyer’s side we were on a tight timetable and wanted to be able to move very quickly. Even though we were looking for a new home over the holidays, that was not an issue at all for the reSolve Group and they seamlessly worked across team-members to close the deal on the perfect home for us and our needs. From crafting a strong offer to helping us think through all the issues Kat and Wendy went above and beyond giving us their best while navigating the purchase.

On the seller’s side we were thoroughly impressed with the speed and efficiency of the entire reSolve Group. The house we were selling was absolutely transformed by their interior design and landscape experts. Our house was really cute when we owned it but Alex and the stagers really had an eye for details that we had missed. It looked so good it was really hard to part with even though we loved our new home. I want to get their advice for how to layout and design our new place!

Every step of the way for both the purchase and the sale we were greeted with exquisite service and expert insights regarding all aspects of Bay Area real estate. It really was a tremendous experience from start to finish, can’t recommend the reSolve Group highly enough!

"We worked with the reSolve Group on both the buying and selling sides of our process. We really can't say enough positive things about the team and the experience, especially when factoring in the challenges associated with one of the highest priced and most competitive real estate markets in the country. We also had only bought one home in our history, and had it for 27 years, so we very much appreciated and relied on the experience and the guidance of our team.

We worked predominantly with Kat on the buy side, and with Adam on the sell side - they are both awesome to work with, knowledgeable on both processes and strategies, as well as regional and neighborhood information. We quickly built trust and a relationship with each of them. We really connected with Kat because of her knowledge of some of the initial areas we were targeting to buy in, and were impressed with the advanced info on upcoming listings she was able to provide. The market was incredibly tough, and we had to learn and adjust along the way, but Kat and the team showed patience to allow us to re-calibrate multiple times. To be honest, sometimes we had to really think about the guidance or recommendations they provided when we buying, and later when we were selling. However, in hindsight, I can say that they guided us extremely well, and we were so glad that we ended up accepting their recommendations. In particular as one example, on the various specific recommendations they made regarding preparation of our home for sale. They were spot on with their guidance and, frankly, they knocked it out of the park on the result achieved.

But perhaps the best thing about the reSolve Group is that they truly are (and work as) a team. Yes, Kat was our lead agent on the buy side for us, but Adam stepped in multiple times without missing a beat when Kat wasn't available. As did Wendy on a less frequent basis - the point being, we were NEVER in the situation where we needed some support, and couldn't get any. Adam/Kat/Wendy work wonderfully as a team, and it's not just surface level. My wife and I knew Adam very well from our buy process, even though we worked predominantly (and ultimately bought our new home) with Kat. When it came time for the next step in our process and sell our old home, It was completely seamless to shift to working with Adam when that phase arrived.

But the last item to touch on is the reSolve Group's secret weapon - Alex. This man is wonderful - we knew that he'd help with various aspects of prepping and staging our home for sale, but he went far beyond our expectations and was such a huge help on not only the sale side, but the buy side as well. He got us connected with and arranged appts with various handymen and contractors for work we wanted to do on the new home we had just bought - there was really no benefit to reSolve Group for him doing this, other than having happy clients. And on our sell side, we had one of the bathrooms remodeled as part of some work preparing the home for sale and it needed a permit. He did the application, pushed it through the city for approval, got the contractor and designs and materials, oversaw the actual project as the work was being done and got it completed on time, and the only thing we had to do was basically say yes or no to the over all plan and costs. He handled everything else.

Buying and selling a home is a stressful experience - if you want to feel like you have a true partner to guide you through the experience and goes above and beyond - the team at reSolve Group are the team for you. And they're really nice people too - we're all done (for now!) on our buying and selling plans, but consider them friends from the experience.

"If you don’t have a lot of time on your hands and you want or need to move, then we highly recommend partnering up with Kat and her team. There’s a million great things we can say, but here are the top 5 ways Kat helped us find our beautiful new home:

She understood our needs at a deep level - Kat showed us properties that met our requirements and kept asking for feedback so that we didn’t waste our time.

She thinks strategically - Kat was great at giving us options when it came time to placing offers and talking us through the pros and cons of each approach.

She is a great negotiator - Kat knew when and how much to push so that we got what we wanted without us feeling like we were jeopardizing the deal.

She is very proactive - Kat guided us through the entire process step by step and always gave us a heads up on what was next so that we felt comfortable the entire way. It was great to have her to rely on especially because buying a house can be such a complex and stressful process.

She recommended great vendors - Kat and Alex, on her team, lined up all the vendors we needed to prepare our new home before we moved in. They all did such great work and it was so nice to be able to rely on their relationships since we didn’t know who could do the work.

Then, she helped us sell our home as well. Here are the top 3 ways Kat helped us get an offer within 4 days of it being on the market.

She did her research - Though our neighborhood was not an area where she typically operates, Kat found out as much information about it and spoke to the local realtors who typically sell there, and came up with a sales strategy that worked!

She made the whole selling process so easy - once we moved out, we didn’t have to lift a finger. Kat and her team did everything to get the house ready for sale.

She got us the price we wanted - she clearly communicated our expectations to the buyer’s agent and sold the house quicker than we expected.

We had such a wonderful experience, thank you Kat for all that you’ve done for us!

"Kat and Adam were incredible in our search for a new home in the Bay Area. Since we were relocating from another state and had little knowledge of the area, the two of them took us on many fun and educational house hunting trips as we explored the area. When a special property came on the market in Portola Valley, they immediately got us in to see the much sought after property and engaged a contractor to join us as we previewed the property. Adam was a superb negotiator, especially with his legal real estate background, and we were successful in buying the 2.5 acre wooded property in a lovely neighborhood. Adam arranged for the house to be deep cleaned and for maintenance items to be addressed before we moved into the house. Kat and Adam also assisted with securing resources such as architects, pre-construction contractors and other professionals as we embarked on the process of building a new home on the lot. The construction process can be daunting but Kat and Adam have always come through in finding a resource that can address our needs. We are grateful to have had Kat and Adam as our introduction to the Bay Area - they are warm, thoughtful and extremely competent and professional in everything they do." - DB

"We loved working with Kat (and Adam and the rest of the reSolve group)! We met Kat during an open house and were immediately impressed. Kat and the whole team patiently walked us through the process of buying our first home and figuring out our preferences. She was both open with her opinions, and always responsive and available to any questions or details we wanted to learn more about. I’m convinced we would not have closed on our housing without Kat’s experience and savvy.

Perhaps most importantly, the reSolve Group are straight shooters and we felt like they had our back the entire time — even now! Although I miss touring properties with Kat, we are nicely settling into our new home and feel at ease knowing she’s there for us if we ever need to call.

"Kat was a pleasure to work with! As this was our first time purchasing a home, we were a little nervous and needed some guidance, to say the least. Kat did an outstanding job from start to finish. She was very responsive and had only our best interest at heart." - David Benkoski

"Kat and team are unbeatable. We have both bought / sold in SF and their communication / attention to detail is incredible. From searching / narrowing down locations to a street / muni-stop level, to restaurants, commutes, communities, and real-estate dynamics - Kat kept us confident. From a selling standpoint Kat's comps, access / technology, photos, and network connections (midnight plumber!) allowed us to move at speed, and from a distance. They provided a concierge experience that was more than enjoyable - it was critical - to be able to meet the closing and listing criteria for a market as dynamic as SF. 10/10" - Jon Wegman

"Kat and Adam are a DREAM to work with. Not only did they patiently help us find our dream home, but they helped us navigate/win a competitive scenario. They are super responsive (late nights, weekends, etc) and they were on top of every detail through a complex close. I would recommend them to anyone." - Peter

Katharine (or Kat as she’s known to most) made her way to the Bay Area from Tennessee during her time as a professional cyclist. After a career spent racing all over the U.S. and with the National team in Europe, she was drawn to real estate in 2011. She relied on skill, focus and determination during her training as an athlete, and found the same traits necessary to help her clients prevail in the highly competitive Bay Area real estate market.

Like Adam and Wendy, she takes a highly analytical approach to her work, consistently innovating to best serve the needs of her clients in this dynamic market. While analysis and clear communication are important, she also knows that buying or selling a home can be an emotional and stressful process. She is level-headed and practical, and calmly helps clients achieve their goals.

Though she still loves to tour the peninsula on two wheels, Kat now squeezes in quick rides between spending time with her wife and two young children. She sits on the National Advisory Council for NCLR and is an ardent supporter of organizations focused on civil and human-rights work.
