About Karina
Karina is a Miami native who is intimately familiar with the city’s
vibrant culture and rich history. She is proud to call this city her home,
and hopes she can assist you in making it your home too. Karina
understands that buying or selling a home is more than just a
transaction—it’s a momentous milestone and a major financial
investment, that will have a tremendous impact on your lifestyle and
financial future. That is why she invests deeply in building a lasting
relationship with her clients. Her mission is to work relentlessly to help
buyers, sellers, landlords and tenants achieve their real estate goals.
Karina graduated Summa Cum Laude from The Honors College at Florida International University (FIU), with a B.S. in History Education, a Minor in Latin American Studies, and a certificate in Women’s Studies. She later attained her Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership. She is the first in her family to graduate from college and is the proud daughter of first-generation Cuban immigrants. Her grandparents relocated to Miami in the 1960s and planted roots in this community (that said, Karina is a fluent Spanish-speaker). Karina has watched her hometown grow exponentially to become the international business and culture hub that it is today.
Karina transitioned to real estate after being an educator and school leader for over thirteen years. She has taught in public, private, and charter school settings and is always happy to advise her clients on the landscape of school options in Miami. She began her teaching career in the Lower East Side of Manhattan, and later went on to be the Founding Principal of a charter middle school in Spanish Harlem. Additionally, she served as the Assistant Principal at a K-8 charter school in Miami Gardens, and a high school in El Paso, Texas. Karina has a true passion for learning, teaching, and leading. These skills naturally translate to her work as a realtor where she has the privilege of sharing market insights and educating her clients on how to make the best informed real estate decisions. As a former leader, she is detail-oriented, while able to see the big picture. She carries herself confidently and has strong interpersonal skills that enable her to get deals done. Furthermore, Karina possesses an unparalleled work ethic and commitment to those that she serves. Her philosophy is simple: real estate is based on real relationships. As she gets to know your needs and preferences, she can match you with the best possible home or investment. Additionally, she promises diligence, ease, transparency, and the utmost professionalism as your personal representative in any real estate transaction.
Having lived in New York and Texas, and traveled extensively throughout the U.S. and abroad, Karina is perfectly suited to serve clients who are relocating based on what matters most to them. She moved back to her hometown because of the year-round sunshine and ocean access, the rich cultural diversity, and perfect blend of city and suburban life. Karina currently resides in the neighborhood of Palmetto Bay, with her husband and son. When she is not working, she enjoys cooking, boating, traveling, dining at a new restaurant, or doing a home-improvement project. She serves as a leader in a local Moms of Preschoolers Chapter and is an active member of Christ Fellowship Church.
