About Julie
Julie is an intuitive connector of people’s vision to reality. She listens deeply to a client, bridging their inner-most desires with her design acumen and market insight to secure their dream home.
An industrial designer, with a passion for architecture and residential design, and fine artist by trade – including museum exhibit design, interior design, and ceramic arts – Julie brings meticulous attention to detail, creative problem-solving, and the highest standards of execution to support her clients.
Julie was driven to become a realtor after personally living the trials and tribulations of being both a home buyer and home seller, many times over. Born in Seoul, Korea and immigrating to the US when she was three years old, Julie has lived all across the United States’ South, Midwest, and West Coast with her husband, and two children – all before arriving in the magic of Marin County and the Bay Area. She feels lucky to call Mill Valley home today. Through her own journey of home-seeking, Julie experienced firsthand the importance of clarity, integrity and respect in the home buying and selling process. Home is where you spend the majority of your life, and make the majority of your memories. As a result, Julie honors and prioritizes what her client wants most in their own idea of “home” – and tenaciously works to make it happen. She directly knows what is at stake for them.
Julie earned her M.F.A. in Design from the Cranbrook Academy of Art, in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, and her B.S. in Industrial Design, College of Architecture, at Georgia Institute of Technology, in Atlanta, Georgia. Her work in design and art spans four decades, including teaching, museum space planning and interpretive design, residential remodels, and as the founder of ImagineDesign, a children's art studio. She is a life-long artist.
When not at open houses or at the potter’s wheel, you can find Julie caring for her family and elderly parents, cooking Korean meals, enjoying Marin’s great outdoors – and of course, out on the pickleball court.
