About Julie
Julie Harding understands that the process of buying or selling a home is often the most important and emotionally charged financial transaction of a person's life. Fortunately for Julie's clients, she is, by nature, a "people person", offering her full support at this crucial time and ensuring that the whole process goes smoothly and successfully. Her positive approach and keen knowledge of the market enable her to help buyers find and secure their ideal homes, and sellers to attain their best possible objectives. "I've always been fascinated with homes – the beauty of some and the endless possibilities of those more modest and in need of a bit of TLC. With simple suggestions and tasteful staging, I'm able to bring out their true potential, enhancing their value for both the buyers and the sellers." Julie's greatest strength lies in her ability to establish the most important relationship of all with people – the relationship of trust.
Born in Manhattan, Julie was raised in Westchester and graduated from Dartmouth College, where she excelled academically and athletically, graduating Cum Laude, with a BA in Psychology. After college, she lived in Manhattan (and Bridgehampton) and landed her first job with a television production company in NYC. She subsequently sought an acting career, moved to Los Angeles, and went on to appear in movies, on television and in theater, both on and off Broadway.
Julie now makes her permanent home on Manhattan's Upper West Side, where she's also thriving in her career in real estate on the Private Client Team @ Compass – working alongside its founder Kevin Sneddon. She loves living in the city, where she can enjoy great theatre, New York's fabulous restaurants, and running the reservoir amidst the beauty of Central Park – all right in her own backyard. Julie lives here with her husband, daughter, their cats "Moose" and rescue "Ringo", and beloved French Bulldog, "Mojo", a neighborhood celebrity.
