About Julie
Julie moved to Brooklyn in 1994 after graduating from the University of Connecticut. She began her career in real estate in 1995 at a time when South Brooklyn was off the radar to most people new to the city. Since then, the entire world has come to understand how desirable it is to live in Brooklyn. With more than three decades of experience, Julie is an expert in Brownstone Brooklyn, and it is her understanding of this borough as both a real estate broker and longtime resident that sets her apart.

Julie has been fascinated by the industry since childhood. Julie’s real estate roots run deep as her father was a Broker in New Haven, Connecticut. Julie learned from her father the importance of building client relationships and understanding their needs.

Over the years, those who have collaborated with Julie have described her as easy to work with, well-informed, and a savvy negotiator. Her repeat clients and referrals show Julie’s natural ability to forge strong relationships and are the keys to her success in the highly competitive New York real estate market. Tap Into Your Senses” is a sensory video series about the importance of having an awareness of your senses when looking for a new home because everything you see, hear, touch, smell, and taste influences both your emotions and your experience of wellbeing. This is about how a home makes you feel as opposed to how it simply looks. I help my buyers harness their intuitive powers, listen to their gut and tap into their senses because a living space should be a sanctuary and a place you love to come home to every day.

SIGHT is our strongest sense. A visually appealing home is important and picturesque views help the mind restore, but the way natural light brightens a home will affect your mood. Each exposure has its own personality and temperament. Eastern exposure creates brilliant morning light that glows. Southern directional light lasts all day long and is the brightest and strongest. Western afternoon sun floods spaces with warm golden overtones and northern exposure produces a soft light which is never too dull or harsh.
