Joy Rayner

Born and raised in Thailand, Joy earned her liberal arts degree from Thammasat University before moving to the United States in 2005. Her love for real estate began as a buyer in 2009 when she purchased her first townhome in San Jose, and later a house in Moraga. These experiences sparked her passion for homes and the process of helping people find the right space for their lives. Before becoming a licensed real estate agent, Joy worked as a 3D home photographer for virtual tours, gaining valuable insight into showcasing homes in the best possible light. She also has a strong affinity for social media and technology, using these tools creatively to connect with others and stay ahead in an ever-evolving industry.

What makes Joy truly unique is her love for people and her natural ability to connect them. A proud Lamorinda resident and mother of two, Joy has created a sense of community by founding three local groups with over 1,200 combined members:

Lamorinda Moms Run/Hike/Walk and Talk – A space for active moms to connect and stay healthy.
International Cooking Club – A group celebrating diverse cuisines and cultures.
Cooking Classes with Joy – Hands-on classes for adults and children to explore the joys of cooking and baking.

Joy’s warmth and ability to build relationships extend naturally into her real estate work, where she is committed to understanding her clients’ needs and creating positive, meaningful experiences.

When she’s not working, Joy loves to play ukulele and sing, she enjoys exploring the beautiful trails of Lamorinda through running and hiking, as well as sharing her passion for cooking and baking. She teaches cooking classes for both adults and children, bringing her love of food and culture to life. Joy is also a certified yoga instructor, finding balance and joy in all aspects of her life.
