Joy first moved to Florida to study at and play tennis for Saint Leo University, and subsequently move back to New York where she completed a bachelor of science degree from SUNY Cortland. Making the permanent move to Florida with her husband of 34 years for him to attend law school, Joy has happily made this her home, raising their three children, who all attended Florida schools from elementary to undergrad and law school. Joy keeps active with tennis, swimming, and Pilates.
