Joshua Edwards brings a strong understanding of real estate finance and economics to Compass, where he serves buyers and sellers throughout the Westside. With more than 10 years of experience as a financial consultant, Joshua excels at providing real-world advice about real estate and property investments. He is skilled at developing creative solutions for those wishing to enter the real estate market or make transitions within it.

“A real estate investment is often the largest purchase a person will make. It’s my role to ensure they are making the best, most informed decisions possible,” Joshua says. This is true whether it’s a first-timer or someone looking to add to a portfolio, trade up, or downsize their living space. Real estate can seem daunting, but it doesn’t need to be and Joshua is eager to provide answers.

Born in San Diego, where his father was involved in real estate, Joshua studied at U.C. Davis before transferring to UCLA, where he played Bruins football. He graduated from UCLA with a Bachelor’s degree in philosophy.

A firm believer in promoting social justice and in giving back to community, Joshua actively supports West Coast Cares, Habitat for Humanity, and is on the stewardship and finance committee for a local non-profit.
