"Josh made the process of buying our first home as painless as it could possibly be. He brings to the table an unparalleled knowledge of the condo market in JP/Rozzie, was professional, patient, and friendly throughout. Highly recommended!"

"I had the pleasure of working with Josh Muncey on the purchase of our new home in Needham, MA. This was our first home purchase, and we had a ton of questions. Josh was thorough, extremely communicative, and always available when we needed him - even at the last minute for a second walk-through of the home we ended up purchasing! My family felt taken care of, and we are so happy we chose to work with him. Josh even got us and our toddler a gift on the day of the final walk-through and closing; I so appreciate such personal touches. I would strongly recommend Josh, especially to first time home-owners like us!"

"I'd highly recommend working with Josh. We were looking to buy a home in either JP or Roslindale, and Josh was extremely knowledgeable about both neighborhoods. He was also very responsive and easily reachable, happy to accommodate our schedules when viewing listings, and provided valuable advice throughout the home buying process, from initial viewings through closing (especially helpful for first time home buyers like us, who did not have any idea what we were doing at first). He's extremely easy to work with, a super nice guy, and I can't imagine having worked with a friendlier, more competent agent. Highly highly recommend!!!" - Mike

"Josh just sold our two family in JP. It had been a rental property for several years and needed some work to get ready for sale. I expected to coordinate and manage the work that had to get done and between my full time job and family was not looking forward to it but Josh did everything from finding and bringing in painters, cleaners, to getting smoke and radon detectors updated to moving furniture. In addition, all documentation was signed via email so it was all done incredibly fast. Our house sold well over asking, closing in just over a month from when it hit the market. This is the third property I've sold and Josh outshines everyone I've worked with in the past, I would give him more stars if I could. I cannot recommend him more highly. Take my advice and use this realtor, it is money well spent."

"We recently used Josh Muncey as our buyer's agent, and he was amazing! From the first time that we spoke to him, we knew that he was VERY experienced with the Boston real estate market. My wife and I found a house we liked, and asked Josh to handle the negotiations for us. He was masterful, and in a market where homes often sell above the asking price, our final purchase price was approximately $40,000 BELOW the asking price. All the credit goes to Josh! A couple of times when the deal seemed to be in jeopardy, he worked with the sellers' agent to find the win-win scenario. In addition to his expertise, Josh is thorough, a great communicator, quick to respond to questions/emails/phone calls, and a genuinely nice person. He also provided great referrals for the following: home inspector, electrician, mortgage broker, and closing attorney, all of whom gave us phenomenal service and pricing. (Yup, we shopped the rates of some of them.) He was a one-stop expert on everything that we needed, and we wouldn't think of doing another transaction without his expertise."
Driven to make his hometown accessible to all, Josh created a program that provides down payments for 1st generation homebuyers of color called The Welcome Home Fund.
The Welcome Home Fund is the main community impact project of the Muncey Group and a 100% philanthropic fund. This fund addresses the racial wealth gap by giving $20,000 grants to first-generation homebuyers of color (primarily single mothers from Boston). During Phase One, lauched in late 2022, five families were selected and each given $20,000 to help make their homeownership dreams a reality. With support from the fund, five of Greater Boston’s families — led by single mothers of color — are now able to change their generational wealth for themselves and their children. Phase 2 is now underway with a goal of serving another seven families. Learn more about the Welcome Home Fund, read our 2023 Program Evaluation Report, or Donate.
