Josh was born and raised in Decatur, AL, but moved to Murfreesboro for college. He fell in love with the area and has called it home since 2000. He and his beautiful wife, Amy, have three children: Isaac, Georgia, and Harrison. He is a devoted husband, father, residential and commercial real estate agent, and real estate investor. In his free time, he can be found catching up on the latest Auburn football news, fishing in salt or freshwater, or coaching his kids sports teams.
While at Middle Tennessee State University, he pursued a B.S. in the Recording Industry. After graduating in 2003, he worked in artist management within the music industry, collaborating with many talented artists and industry professionals. His passion for people, relationships, and investing led him to real estate. After buying and selling four homes in eight years as a homeowner, he decided to make it his career. He has been on both sides of the table when it comes to buying and selling process. As an agent, he draws on his experience and attention to detail to make the process as stress-free as possible for his clients. He has a passion for guiding those he works with through their specific transactions.
When it comes to real estate investment, he loves helping clients create passive income through the purchase of rental properties. He is also passionate about helping those in the middle of foreclosure, estate liquidation, or dealing with distressed properties get the resolution they need from the sale of their home. For these reasons, he created a company called Battle Ground Homes that can help families through all of these scenarios by making a bad situation better in a short time frame.
As Josh grew in his real estate knowledge he drew on his experiences in the music industry and corporate America and branched out into commercial real estate. He loves to work with his commercial clients and help them find the property that best suits their business needs and understands the challenges that each specific business type may run into during the due diligence and approvals processes.
His mindset and approach to the process is one of a coach or fishing guide: he aims to get his clients to the right location. His goal is to be a trusted real estate advisor that guides clients home.
