About John
After nearly eight years of practicing real estate first in Greenville, South Carolina, then Nashville, Tennessee, John is back in his beloved home state of Wisconsin and thrilled to serve his Badger State clients with the Aaron Weber Group. Having worked in residential sales in two of the South’s fast-growing cities, John understands the dynamic and complex processes of buying and selling in evolving markets and the importance of home ownership amidst large scale development and quickly changing economic conditions. In particular, John accels at working with first-time home buyers and sellers. Drawing on his background in higher education, he empowers clients with the guidance and expert knowledge they need to make oftentimes very big decisions, and ultimately, meet their real estate goals. To that end, John was recognized consistently as one of the top agents out of 300+ at his previous brokerage in Nashville, and has garnered more than forty 5-star reviews on Zillow.
When he's not in the real estate trenches, John enjoys family time with his wife Liz, and young sons Leo and Julian, exploring Wisconsin’s incredible parks, trying new restaurants, traveling, reading, disc golfing, snowboarding, sipping Spotted Cow, and playing, listening to, and writing music. A lifelong musician and popular music scholar, John performs often in and around Madison—you can find him most Thursday nights with his guitar at The Red Rooster’s blues jam—and has dreams of finally publishing his PhD dissertation on his musical hero Gram Parsons and late 1960’s country rock.
