John Ruocco is a seven-year veteran of New York City real estate known among his satisfied and loyal clientele for his unfailing attentiveness and deep commitment to their goals. Above all, John is driven by the opportunity to establish lifelong relationships with his clients.
Prior to real estate, John was a theater director and acting teach for more than 15 years, and he credits those roles for much of his real estate success, especially when it comes to connecting with people on a deep level and managing expectations through stressful situations. "I realized early on that there are a lot of similarities between being a theater director and a real estate broker: Both careers require a thick skin, an intuitive nature, organization and a commitment to people's hopes and dreams," he explains.
John is an Upper Manhattan specialist, intimately familiar with the neighborhoods and history above 110th Street.
A lifelong resident of the tristate area, John has resided in New York City for 31 years. He is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania. When not hard at work, he loves spending time with his toddler twin girls and spends many weekends at ballroom dance competitions with his husband, Nikolai Shpakov, a professional dancer.
