John Carapella

John has a natural ability to understand and identify with his customers' unique needs, and generous patience in seeing them through the entire process. 'I'm one of seven children. Growing up I learned the importance of staying humble, working with integrity and respecting other's needs and differences.' 

With 15+ years of experience and a growing network, John sought out a progressive brokerage company with strong leadership to best service his client's needs. He joined Compass in 2018 and formed a partnership with Richard Herschenfeld to form the Carapella Herschenfeld Team. With offices on Manhattan's Upper West Side and Scarsdale (Westchester County), John and his team service sellers, buyers, and renters in Manhattan, Brooklyn and Westchester County.

John is a native New Yorker with a degree in Marketing. He currently resides in lower Westchester County with his wife and three children. He's also a former collegiate baseball player who enjoys volunteering and coaching various local youth athletics.
