Prior to construction and building, Joanne worked in the aviation industry for 12 years as a flight dispatcher, and later, a manager of labor relations in charge of negotiating major union contracts. Those roles honed her notable skill at bringing multiple stakeholders to consensus, as well as her ability to manage high-pressure projects and details while maintaining total grace and calm.

Originally from Connecticut, Joanne has lived in New York for 23 years and had moved to the Miami area several years ago. She earned a bachelor's degree in business administration and airline management from Hawthorne College in Antrim, New Hampshire. She holds a paralegal certification from Roosevelt University in Chicago and an associate's degree in interior design from the New York School of Interior Design. Joanne also holds an FAA Private Pilot license and FAA Aircraft Dispatcher license. Passionate about giving back, she serves on the advisory board for The Hope Gala which raises money to fight pediatric cancer. When she's not hard at work, Joanne enjoys flying, cycling and travel.
