About Joanna
Joanna Jimenez is a Miami native and the Principal of The Opes Group at Compass, where she represents buyers, sellers, and investors in Miami real estate and leads a team of 30.

Having traveled extensively throughout the United States, Joanna understands that her hometown is a unique city that has to be shared with others. After several years working in private wealth management, she opened Opes Real Estate Group in 2015, where she represented clients from all over the world and grew her team for six years. The team joined Compass in 2021. Joanna’s mission is grounded in simplifying processes and ensuring five-star service to everyone, from first-time buyers to experienced investors, and it has served her – she was a recipient of the Miami Association 20 under 40 in 2019.

Fluent in English and Spanish, Joanna is involved in the South Florida community and offers expertise on local happenings, from new businesses to old school staples. She has served on the Board of Directors with Florida Realtors, Miami Association Young Professional Network, and the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals.
