A fifth-generation Californian, Joan attended Santa Catalina School in Monterey and the University of California at Berkeley where she received a B.A. in Film. Before joining the real estate industry, she worked in television at the National Broadcasting Company (NBC), the Maryland Center for Public Broadcasting, and as a documentary film editor for the US Department of Interior in Washington D.C.
In addition to her expertise as a Realtor®, Joan enjoys a wide variety of activities in her affiliations with the Society of California Pioneers; Museum of Craft and Design; Junior League of San Francisco; U.C.
