Buying a home is a huge decision. Buying a home in another state during the height of COVID is even more complicated. We cannot recommend Jen highly enough. Jen helped us to find and purchase our first home in 2016 and we were immensely satisfied with the experience. When we decided to sell our home in 2021, I reached out to Jen to help us out. Jen brings an amazing combination of expertise and client-centeredness. Initially, I thought we should list our house for the amount we were hoping to get for it, and Jen talked me through it explaining the risks of listing your house too high (that essentially buyer’s will expect to pay over asking in the current market so it may actually price out some buyer’s and reduce our number of offers). While she offers a wealth of information at every turn, she truly left every decision up to us and personalized her recommendations to our situation. When we told her, that with 3 kids, we had no interest in doing multiple weekends of showings, she came up with a plan to price it aggressively, list the house as “coming soon” a week early, and pack in showings and open houses on 1 weekend – we had 5 offers by the end of the weekend. She discussed the needed improvements we should try to make on the house and even helped to connect us to handyman, painter, etc. to help get the job done. She took care of getting a photographer in who shot 360 degree views of the interior, couldn’t believe the quality of the end product. In the end, we ended up getting the amount of money I had initially thought was aspirational in our sale price.
