Jennifer has lived, worked, and raised her family in San Francisco for almost 30 years, honing skills that she now uses as a well-equipped adviser and advocate for her clients.
Before discovering her passion for real estate, she was an EPA scientist where regulatory and investigative experiences focused a discerning eye on evaluating competing interests. Then working internationally she shaped her negotiation skills fighting for clean water and worker protections in Asia, Latin America, and at home. Finally, she served the local community in her role as a Gap, Inc. Bay Area Giving & Volunteer Director.
This unique combination of work experience built the foundation for Jennifer to pursue a real estate career. She began in 2011, on her former realtor® and mentor’s recommendation. He recognized Jennifer’s raw potential, as her caring, personable, and determined demeanor lends itself well to this profession. In addition to helping clients buy and sell real estate, she has pursued a passion for interior design, co-founding a successful home-staging and pop-art business. Her eye for aesthetics and design makes Jennifer an excellent style resource for her buyers and sellers. She can spot untapped value others might miss in a property and recognizes potential problem areas before they become genuine concerns. Jennifer intuitively knows the ripples and waves of the San Francisco housing market. Along with her in-depth expertise and comprehensive understanding of the market, Jennifer is a fierce negotiator on behalf of her clients’ interests. She works with first-time homebuyers, families with children, investors and empty-nesters to help them strike the perfect balance between acquiring the home of their dreams and a worthwhile investment.
Jennifer is an active member of the San Francisco Association of Realtors®, and serves on several board committees focused on making real estate more accessible and making San Francisco an even better place for all who are lucky enough to call it home. But for Jennifer, the best part of going to work each day is the opportunity to see the smiles on her clients’ faces. Jennifer takes care of her clients from start to finish, whether by walking first-time buyers through a challenging market, or triple-checking that her sellers haven’t left anything to chance.
Jennifer is an ardent philanthropist whose credits include serving as a board member on the San Francisco Children’s Council, San Francisco Day School, and the Children’s Creativity Museum, formerly Zeum. In her free time, you might find Jennifer playing tennis, watching baseball, paddle boarding, or feeding her passion for British mysteries. Jennifer is a former marathon runner and counts her trans-America bike trip among her proudest achievements, second only to raising her two sons, both now attending college. Jennifer’s husband is a Bay Area native who works as an attorney. Although their sons are grown, he continues to coach youth baseball. Jennifer and her husband are proud and enthusiastic San Franciscans. Jennifer knows the pulse of the community and the real estate market and is ready to invest her passion and expertise in your dreams.

“I am writing to express my profound gratitude and to deliver an extremely enthusiastic endorsement of Jennifer’s performance as the listing agent for the sale of our home at 1045 Cole Street in San Francisco. Results are what matter, and in our sale the result was spectacular. The home sold in roughly ten days for a price about 10% over a wisely chosen and robust list price in an environment in which time was a major constraint. In fact the entire process from signing on with Jennifer to closing took about six weeks. However this extraordinary outcome, accomplished with both great speed and great precision, would not have been possible had Jennifer not displayed superior judgment and tenacious execution skills at every step of the process. As they say in my business, if you’re not working with Jennifer, you must hate money. More simply put, I want Jennifer in my foxhole when the (-) hits the fan.” -- Tim S.

“Jennifer understands the foundation of a strong relationship--trust and communication. I always felt heard, but at the same time, expert advice was front and center. My expectations were high because of who I am and the results exceeded even those high standards. We were delighted that Jennifer was willing to navigate the multiple hurdles presented by the Covid pandemic. She was extremely conscientious with respect to keeping us informed and our home protected. Jennifer's hard work was evident in the number of potential buyers she attracted and the contact she kept with them once they had seen the property. She remembered little details about the client's priorities and was able to zero in on them in subsequent conversations and viewings. We recommend her very highly.” -- Gail B.

“Jennifer is fabulous! My husband and I worked with Jennifer on five transactions, buying and selling in San Francisco. Jennifer was spot-on with her suggestions for a purchase price or a selling price. She carefully presents you (if you are the buyer) with an authentic letter, or prepares and positions a property for sale with utmost detail. Jennifer was able to win two properties for us in very competitive buying scenarios (10+ bids). Jennifer is always calm (even when I might not be) and was on top of all the details of a transaction, even while on vacation. With so many micro-neighborhoods in San Francisco and so many neighboring towns, it is important to have someone who knows the area, but more importantly, will take the time to do the research to land on the perfect buy or sell price. I highly recommend Jennifer! ” -- Beth D.

“For empty-nest downsizers, Jennifer was invaluable in selling our home for more than I thought possible and then parlaying that into a vacation home and a smaller place in the city. Three transactions in less than a year and never a glitch. I was always convinced that I was getting the best price possible for my house while Jennifer scoured the market for the best deal for our new homes. Couldn’t be more pleased. ” -- Buyer and Seller, 2010-2019
