About Jennifer
Born and raised in Westchester County, Jennifer Farnum and her family moved to Westport, Connecticut in 1995. She quickly fell in love with Fairfield County and eventually moved to Rowayton with her husband and two daughters.
Jennifer, along with her Homes 203 teammate Stephanie Hanford offer clients premier service, sharp negotiating skills, and unparalleled local knowledge. In addition to being an expert in the Rowayton, New Canaan, Darien, and Westport real estate markets, Jennifer is an NYC transplant herself—having previously lived in the city for over a decade—and can appreciate the challenges of making the transition to suburban life. This knowledge makes her well-suited to help buyers find the Connecticut town that best fits their needs.
A graduate of St. Lawrence University, Jennifer spent 12 successful years working in fashion and retail with Bloomingdales, Lacoste, and Ralph Lauren. She worked as a retail planning manager, and the role required trend forecasting and comparative analysis—skills she now employs daily for her real estate clients. She combines her keen business sense with her natural talent for design to help clients find and create their dream homes. Since moving to Rowayton, Jennifer has become actively involved in her community, serving on the board of the Rowayton Civic Association. She is also the former president of the United Church Nursery School, an active supporter of the local public schools, and an avid supporter of OPUS for Person-to-Person and Filling in the Blanks.
When Jennifer is not working, she enjoys staying active. You can often find her spending time on the water with family and friends or cheering on her two daughters at the local ice hockey rink, as well as at field hockey and lacrosse games.
