About Jeffrey
A fourth-generation Dallasite, Jeffrey Lester knows Dallas real estate. Buying a home is so much more than just making a move - it is always a life-changing event that requires a caring expert and adviser. As such, his finger is on the pulse of what is happening in the market. Prior to real estate, Jeffrey worked for a world-class oil field services company in international finance and afterwards successfully managed the regional operations for a national consulting firm.
Having now been a REALTOR for 21+ years, he brings that same energy and professionalism to real estate. That has resulted in an ever growing, loyal client base who turn and return to him for their real estate needs. Jeffrey is proud to have worked with several developers of multi-family high and mid-rises over the years. In fact, for 3 separate mid-rises, their developers engaged his services after the initial sales efforts had stalled and he accomplished selling out all 3 - quite a feat indeed. In another case, Jeffrey worked with an international developer for one of Dallas' most luxurious high-rises, LTD Edition 2505, which was slated to be Dallas' first "billionaire building".
Another recent addition to his business has been working with more sellers and buyers in some of north Texas' lakes, farming and ranch communities. As more people move to the area, the secondary home market in those areas continues to mature as well as being quite attractive as an easily drivable getaway from the Metroplex. Having lived in many of Dallas' most sought after neighborhoods including Kessler Park, Preston Hollow, Lake Highlands and State Thomas in Uptown, Jeffrey now lives on bucolic Turtle Creek. Each of these neighborhoods has increased his love for his hometown.
In 2018, Jeffrey was recruited by Robert Reffkin, the founder and CEO of Compass, to be one of the founding team members of the Dallas office when Compass expanded to Texas. In the intervening years, Compass has become the #1 brokerage in Dallas, in Texas and in the United States.
Some of Jeffrey's charitable endeavors benefit the National MS Society, the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, the National Parkinson Foundation, Habitat for Humanity, the Visiting Nurse Association Meals on Wheels program, the Dallas Resource Center, the Dallas Museum of Art and the Turtle Creek Association.
As Dallas and the Metroplex continue our unprecedented growth and ascension into one of the most desirable areas in the country, Jeffrey looks forward to working with you whether looking for your own estate in the sky or on a lot nestled in one of Dallas' established neighborhoods, your first home, up-sizing, down-sizing, a secondary home or just a change in lifestyle. Find out for yourself what true service and extraordinary representation are all about.
