About James
James was born and raised on Long Island. He has spent time in several towns, now calling Port Washington home with his wife and two daughters. Having spent the majority of his career in higher education, James has developed a strong passion for helping others get from one place in their lives to the next. Real estate allows James to build upon that desire and make an impact in the lives of others, helping individuals and families find their home.
With a passion for athletics and recreation instilled at a young age, James’ life has heavily revolved around sports and fitness. Living in Port Washington provides residents with a tremendous amount of opportunities to get moving outdoors. From running the challenging hills throughout town, playing in basketball and softball leagues, kayaking in Manhasset Bay and taking his children for walks by the town docks, Sands Point Preserve and more, James and his family are enjoying an extremely active lifestyle.
Being a former collegiate student-athlete, coach and Athletic Director, sports have taken James to every corner of the country. Spending summers playing and coaching from the Hamptons to the Jersey Shore and even Iowa, James has experienced life in many towns, cities and states. And the biggest lesson learned through it all, is there is no place like home. Helping others realize the wonderful opportunities of calling Long Island home, and working with them each day to find the right fit, is what being an agent with Compass is all about for James .
