About Jaja
I’m a realtor, renovator, design enthusiast, mom, and lawyer living in San Francisco, California. San Francisco has been my home for over twelve years and there are so many great things about the city I’m excited to share with you.
I purchased my first home in 2012 off-market after scouring listing after listing and not finding anything that fit my needs. There was a home I had bid on in a condo community I was interested in, but I lost the bidding war. While my agent told me to move on, I was determined to live in the community of my dreams. I contacted the owner/developer and had my pick from a handful of units that were not on the market yet. I enjoyed the experience so much and thought I would love to do this for others, so I enrolled in a real estate class and got my license right after closing on that home. That was my first venture into real estate and I haven’t looked back. I hope I can use my experience to help you with your home search!
Prior to obtaining my real estate license in California, I worked as an agent in Boston and New York. I returned home to San Francisco in 2015 (fun fact: I grew up in Nob Hill) and worked for two Bay Area developers, helping to permit and build luxury developments in San Francisco, San Jose, and Oakland. During that time, I also renovated my home from the 1950's and added an ADU. This experience, coupled with a deep interest in interior design, gives me a detailed understanding of home construction and building materials/finishes, cost and permitting, which I use to help my clients. There's a lot involved in preparing a home for sale and my goal is use my expertise to create a stress-free experience for my clients.
Now, I live in Glen Park with my husband, toddler, and our orange tabby. We've been in the neighborhood for over seven years and it is truly a hidden gem. In our free time, we love visiting all the playgrounds and museums in the city. If you're wondering what it's like living in SF with children or what it's like relocating to SF from the East Coast (or elsewhere), please reach out. I'd love to chat with you and share with you my experience living here!
Testimonials
“I couldn't be happier. Jaja is an amazing real estate professional. She knows the market inside and out and was able to pinpoint prospective properties that matched our goals. We put offers on a couple of them and were the successful bidder on our favorite. I highly recommend Jaja.” — Client P.C.
“As first time home buyers, our experience working with Jaja was wonderful. Jaja is very efficient, strategic, resourceful, patient, thoughtful, and proactive. She guided us to understand what we wanted and liked by asking all the good questions and carefully observing our reactions. We felt very comfortable working with her because she really listened and cared about what we wanted. We could always speak our true thoughts to her. Buying in the Bay is very stressful and there were moments we felt desperate and almost caved in for deals that did not suit our needs. Thanks to Jaja who spoke up and rationalized with us at the risk of us blaming her later, we avoided the bad deals and eventually found a home we really loved! Jaja was essential for helping us navigate through this complicated home buying process.” — Client Z.F.
