"I have a background in commercial real estate so have dealt with a slew of real estate agents; Jeff is what I look for in my agents - great market knowledge, straightforward, and very responsive. His relationships and finesse were instrumental in winning us our perfect house in San Mateo Park. - TRACY C.

" Excellent realtor to work with - no doubt! We have worked with Jeff twice now, first to sell our house in 2017 and recently to buy one - and he has been a pleasure to deal with both times. Many other reviews have already pointed out the benefits of working with him - local market knowledge, connections with other realtors, solid ideas around house sales prep, oodles of energy, personable etc. so I'll just call out some of the highlights of our interactions with him. When selling our house back in 2017, we were under a time crunch as we were leaving the country - Jeff and Angela (his partner in crime :) ) helped sell our house super fast through pre-market viewing and took care of many aspects of 'taking care of the house' like distributing several items which we didn't take with us, touch up painting, floral sprucing of front yard etc. as we had left within a couple of days of signing the contract - it all got done on time w/o us having to get worried about it. When buying a house late last year, they helped us look at 20 houses in 2 days (again, we were under a time crunch), engaged our inquisitive daughters while we did house tours, got sub-contractors in fast when we needed quotes on some medium pieces of work and overall were always available to help us talk through details and make up our minds. We would wholeheartedly recommend Jeff as a realtor! - KUNAL B.

" I'll get to the punchline: Jeff is an amazing agent. With his help, my wife and I were able to find our "forever" home in an ultra competitive market (Burlingame). He is diligent, resourceful, responsive, empathetic, knowledgeable, and ethical, everything you want in someone who's helping you make one of the most important decisions in your life. He also has great hair, a winning smile, and is charming as f*ck. But beyond his personal character, here's why you should go with him over agent x, a Redfin, Open Listing, or any of these other "2.0" services that claim to disrupt the real estate industry: Knowledge: My wife and I originally cast a very wide net in terms of potential neighborhoods/areas/cities on the peninsula. All of our knowledge was based on scouring Redfin/Zillow, which are great resources for establishing a baseline level of knowledge. But Jeff was able to distill through all of the listings we were interested in and point to micro-neighborhoods that appealed to us. We were then able to focus our attention to these neighborhoods. His knowledge of the area saved us a tremendous amount of time. I can't think of any 2.0 service that would be able to provide this type of value. Relationships: In a hyper competitive market where there are no shortage of qualified buyers, often times the difference between getting your offer looked at or dismissed is based upon the relationship between the buyer's agent and the listing agent. Jeff has established these relationships within the industry. On multiple occasions we were able to get our offer on the table because of his connections. In addition, he constantly had his ear to the ground for off-market or pre-market opportunities. I believe the relationship aspect of what Jeff brings to the table is impossible to duplicate. Putting together an offer: Okay, you've found the home of your dreams, now what? Time to put in an offer. If you're like us, you haven't the slightest clue how to make yours stand out from the other 10 offers. Jeff is here to help. When I would quiz him on what he thought a house would "go for", he consistently hit the mark. And with his help, we were able to put together very competitive offers. Our losing out on a home was more about the value we placed on that specific property, less about what he thought it would take to get the home. In summary, if you're looking for a sherpa to help you purchase a home on the peninsula (which is basically the equivalent to climbing Everest), please do yourself a favor and call Jeff. - VIET N.

" My husband and I started working with Jeff to find our first rental in the Bay Area. We were a little nervous because we didn't know the area, and wanted to make sure that we made the right choice. Jeff found us a rental that fit our needs and was beautiful...which is hard to do in a market this busy! When we decided to purchase a home 2 years later, Jeff was the natural choice. I asked to see a few listings I found online, but Jeff had a wild card up his sleeve. He showed us a diamond in the rough that we purchased, renovated, and are now in love with. Jeff also helped us settle into our neighborhood with recommendations for local businesses and 'how to' guides for setting up accounts with the city. We couldn't be happier that we started working with him when we moved to California and would work with him again in the future. - JEN H.

" We were brand new to the Bay area and had no idea what to expect when buying a place. Jeff was great! He is very knowledgable on the area and helped narrow down where would be an ideal place for us to end up. He was always friendly and answered any questions we had. Buying a house in this area is extremely competitive and crazy and he helped to calm our nerves and we ended up with a great condo. We would definitely recommend him and would work with him again when we make our next move. - MANDY B.
