Ian specializes in residential multi-family investment properties, luxury properties, house hacking, first-time homebuyers, and helping clients relocating to the Pittsburgh area find the right neighborhood for their family.
Drawing from his background in law, tax, and finance, Ian brings a unique skillset to Compass to better represent clients in their Pittsburgh real estate transactions.
In addition to his work as a Realtor®, Ian is also a Wealth Advisor at a national registered investment advisory firm in Pittsburgh where he advises business owners and real estate investors on financial planning, tax planning, and estate planning. Prior to that, Ian worked at a boutique litigation law firm in Pittsburgh and in the Tax Litigation Section at the Office of Attorney General in Harrisburg. These professional experiences inform his perspective for how he approaches his work as a Realtor® and give him greater appreciation for the financial attributes of real estate.
Ian joined The Hope Harmotto Team at Compass in 2024. Hope and her team have a proven track record of providing elevated service for real estate investors and luxury property sales. Ian’s technical background and financial expertise complement the team’s core strengths and position The Hope Harmotto Team to be the go-to resource for investment properties and luxury properties in Pittsburgh.
