About Hutch


Santa Barbara is a tightly knit community in which your name is your business card and your most valuable asset. This fact rewards the hardworking, honorable, and dependable individuals in our community, Hutch has worked hard to make his name synonymous with honesty, integrity, and accountability.

After graduating with highest honors from UCSB, Hutch moved abroad, working as a photographer and filmmaker. After years of living and working abroad, Hutch returned to his hometown to help manage his family’s real estate investments. He increased both the efficiency and cash flow of their investments, building a business model, which remains to this day and provides his parents security in their retirement years. He has since turned his focus to residential and multi-unit, real estate sales. 

Having grown up in a real estate investment family, Hutch spent his childhood and adolescence living in a variety of owner-occupied investment homes throughout the Santa Barbara area. He is thus able to utilize his extensive local connections and endless first-hand ā€œsecretā€ knowledge of Santa Barbara neighborhoods and schools to help his clients find the perfect fit for their needs.

When Hutch is not working in real estate he stays active in the community supporting environmental groups and other nonprofit organizations. His free time is spent enjoying the beauty of Santa Barbara, surfing, climbing, biking, hiking, and backpacking in the backcountry. As an avid outdoorsman he prides himself on staying healthy through exercise and hard work and brings that same passion and commitment to helping his clients who put their trust in him.
