Harrison Spurzem is a dedicated real estate professional who moved to Washington, DC, in 2021. Prior to moving to DC, Harrison matriculated from the College of William & Mary with a degree in economics in 2019.
While in college, Harrison was a member of the crew (rowing) team and purchased his first home so that he and his friends could all live together. Over the summers, he renovated the home himself. Harrison took pride in attending a liberal arts college and supplemented his economics education by taking an array of electives in fields such as Chinese culture, world religion, art history, literature, computer science, finance, speech, and piano.
Between college and moving to DC, Harrison returned to his beloved hometown of Charlottesville, VA where he worked as a leasing agent and maintenance manager at an apartment community. He then began working in construction at the renovation of the historic Preston Court Apartments and was soon promoted to Project Manager and Superintendent. He moved to DC to be with his then-girlfriend in Spring 2021.
Growing up, Harrison was always surrounded by real estate as his father is a real estate investor, developer, and landlord in the area. Harrison attended a Friends/Quaker middle/high school where he played on the tennis team and practiced art in the fields of silversmithing, stained glass, and ceramics.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Harrison finds joy in maintaining an active lifestyle. He also cherishes quality time with friends and his girlfriend. Harrison’s other hobbies include listening to music, reading the Economist, and playing video games. A lifelong sports fan, Harrison has attended high-profile events such as the Final Four, the Super Bowl, and the NBA Finals. He is a fan of the Virginia Cavaliers, Boston Red Sox, Boston Celtics, and New England Patriots. In the summers, he enjoys watersports and fishing at Smith Mountain Lake in Virginia.
Harrison prides himself on his honesty, forthrightness, and positive demeanor. With an eye for detail and an appreciation for the unique nature of each property, Harrison is committed to helping clients find their perfect home or investment property in the dynamic neighborhoods of DC, Maryland, and Virginia. He also works as a property manager.
Harrison currently lives in the vibrant 14th St. Corridor with his Australian Shepherd, Wallaby, with whom he can often be seen on walks in Meridian Hill Park.
