About Lori
For over 25 years, Lori Schiaffino has worked directly with and is a trusted advisor to many high-profile families around the globe who have estate properties in the Hamptons and New York. She has extensive international business travel experience and acquired exceptional real estate and art collection investments on behalf of her clients. Through her affiliation with Compass, Lori’s primary focus is to use her global contacts and reach to bring new buyers to the Hamptons market. Lori’s expertise and skill led her to closing the largest transaction in the Hamptons in 2015 and the largest transaction in East Hampton in 2017.
Lori is able to use her property analysis and negotiation skills, coupled with her extensive knowledge of the East End, to seek out the best properties and value for her clients. Lori acted in an advisory capacity for her clients on real estate matters which, include acquisitions and dispositions as well as redevelopment for both commercial and residential properties. Lori is committed to providing her clients with thoughtful market analysis and dedicated service, all while maintaining the utmost level of discretion.
In addition to holding a NYS real estate license, she maintains Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) certification as a Series 7 and Series 63 licensed registered representative. Prior to selling real estate full time, Lori was a managing partner of a broker-dealer raising capital for institutional level Private Equity and Hedge Funds.
Lori has been involved with Ross School, a world-renowned private school located in East Hampton, since its inception. As a founding Ross School mother, Lori worked closely with the Institution on the growth and development of both Ross School and Ross Institute. She assisted in the master planning, design and construction process of all buildings on the upper campus.
