About Glen

“Working hard for something we don’t care about is called stress: Working hard for something we love is called passion” - Simon Sinek

I am a California native that calls Marin County home. If a home is truly where the heart is, then I can say I’ve followed my heart and love where I live. My knowledge and love for the area, coupled with my work ethic, strong negotiation skills, and commitment to my client’s needs, make me a great choice to help you with one of the biggest decisions of your life, buying and/or selling your home.

While I was born in Southern California, I spent my formative middle and high school years in Hailey, Idaho. I’ve called Marin County home for over 30 years. When I first visited my mom, while a caretaker for a property in Belvedere, I was awestruck by Marin’s natural beauty and all the area had to offer. I packed up my college dorm and headed to Marin County.

I graduated from UC Davis, with a degree in Landscape, City, and Regional Planning, after being inspired by a local Marin County Landscape Contractor, whom I worked for, in between attending Boise State and UC Davis. After Davis, I worked for Grubb & Ellis, practicing Commercial Leasing and Sales in Sacramento. Always knowing that I wanted to make it back to the Bay Area, I pursued a career in Residential Mortgage Lending, working on both the wholesale and retail side of the business, serving customers and mortgage brokers in San Francisco, Marin, and Sonoma Counties.

I have worked for some of the Silicon Valley giants, including Oracle, Gartner, IBM, Salesforce, and Teradata, spanning some 12 years. With one exception, from 2003-2008, I returned to the mortgage industry and worked for National City Bank, on the wholesale side of the mortgage business and was extremely successful and passionate about providing outstanding customer service, as a top-tier producer.

The one thing that has remained constant, throughout my career, is my passion for real estate. I was first licensed in Real Estate in 1991 and have always been involved and active in following and participating in buying, selling, and improving properties, learning many valuable lessons along the way (Don’t forget to ask me about 2008). I’ve focused specifically on the Marin County real estate market and have gained a great deal of knowledge, and can’t wait to share that with my clients.

I am a proud father of a son and daughter, whom both attend local public schools in Corte Madera and Larkspur. I am married to my beautiful wife of 19 years, who works at Autodesk, and loves her job. I am active at both kid’s schools and have coached both my son and daughter in Twin Cities Little League and CYO Volleyball and Basketball and I’m currently a coach on the Redwood High School Mountain Bike team.

When I’m not working or coaching youth sports, I can be found running, skiing, mountain biking, playing basketball or tennis, and occasionally fly fishing. Marin County allows me to maintain an active and healthy lifestyle, all outside of my back door.
