We had never sold a home before, so Felicie proved to be nurturing and positive. She was very sensitive to the stress associated with relocating and selling a home especially since | had already moved to Houston when we put our home on the market, so she had to manage clients living in two locations (ESP delayed Steve's move to Houston because I didn't want him to relocate if my job was at risk).
Felicie was very understanding of our requests for showing the home. For example, she asked that prospective buyers remove their shoes when they entered the house because we typically did. She also was very aware of the benefits of our home and the type of buyers that may be interested. For example, our home was located at the base of Mt. Diablo, and Steve is an avid rider. We hung his bike on a wall near the door so that he could easily git it outside for a ride, and Felicie liked the idea of keeping it there because she thought potential buyers could be bike enthusiasts as well.
Felicie had a very robust understanding of the business and Chevron's relocation program. Upfront, she provided us information on what we need to bring to the table in terms of information, disclosures, etc. There was a lot of line issues with our home (neighbor's driveway extended beyond the property line), and Felicie understood the importance of resolving the issue and helped facilitate the resolution.
She has a solid understanding of the economics of the day (that the market may go down) and proved to have a realistic interpretation of the economy at the time (which may not have changed much). Felicie suggested that our home could ultimately sell for the price we got, and she stopped us from making unnecessary concessions.
Felicie's photographer did a great job our house looked better in the photos than in person (at least I think it did), and the marketing materials were very professional and high-end.
