A native San Diegan Erik Romero has spent his entire career dedicated to the intricate facets within the real estate industry. In 2005, he commenced his career as an investment research analyst for one of San Diego’s most prominent multi-family brokerage firms. From there he transitioned to the sales and acquisitions division selling apartment complexes. Working in this high level environment, Erik gained his experience in transaction negotiation, income expense analysis and innovative marketing strategies.
In 2008, Erik came to the realization that helping clients find their dream homes and assisting them in selling their most valuable assets was more gratifying than selling apartment complexes. Throughout this time Erik has geared his expertise into the luxury real estate market with a primary focus as a listing agent.
His trajectory as a realtor has turned him into a true powerhouse within San Diego’s finest communities. Beyond maximizing his clients’ wealth, Erik has always prided himself in conducting his practice with the utmost integrity, ethics and professionalism. What drives your passion for real estate?
I’ve always known that to reach true success I would first have to find my passion. What drives me to work extra hard every day are my clients. I’m thankful to take an active role in one of the most important transactions of their lives. It’s heart warming to see a smile on their faces when they get an offer or watch them jump of excitement when their property has sold.
What is your definition of community?
Community is a place where people come together and work to improve the standard of living for the their family’s future. A place where individuals have the capacity to develop to their fullest potential because they’re surrounded by helping hands and wise mentors. I’m grateful to be a part of the San Diego community because I enjoy experiencing all the intricate neighborhoods that make this city so great. This is why I volunteer for organizations like Partners Mentorship Programs, Amor Ministries, Youth With a Mission and various soup kitchens throughout San Diego. Leading by example is my way of making a difference and contributing to my community.
What do you do with any spare time you have?
Being the best husband & father I can be, playing tennis, walking the beaches, or on a yoga mat at my local studio.
