Emily Aylward Vogt is a residential real estate agent with nearly 20 years of experience, having transitioned from her first career in television news. She moved into real estate in 2005 after reporting and anchoring for TV stations in Topeka, KS (KSNT-TV), and Kansas City, MO (KMBC-TV). 

Emily specializes in the move-up market, relocation, right-sizing, first-time home buyers, and investors looking to strengthen their portfolios. While she’s familiar with all areas of Metro KC, she has a special affinity for the South Plaza, Brookside, and Romanelli West neighborhoods. 

 Born and raised in beautiful KCMO near Brookside, Emily has spent nearly her entire life in just two homes: the one she grew up in and the one she and her husband purchased in the same area when they were married 23 years ago. They’ve since raised two children in that home. This deep personal experience has given Emily a strong understanding of the emotional significance of buying and selling houses, as well as the crucial importance of location when selecting a new home. 

 Over the years, Emily has closed approximately 300 transactions. In many instances, she goes beyond the role of a typical agent by managing bids, coordinating repairs, and connecting clients with a trusted network of contractors.
