About Elsa
Elsa moved to Capitol Hill from New York City in 2007, and swiftly became engaged with the neighborhood and community. She now specializes in real estate on the Hill and its surrounding neighborhoods. She is very proud of her client testimonials, where clients consistently call out her knowledge, resourcefulness, and friendliness.
She enjoys getting to know people and diligently helping them find the perfect home to love. Helping sellers present their homes and negotiating on their behalf is another aspect of the business she finds energizing and interesting. She prides herself on her comprehensive problem-solving skills, keeping the temperature down on high stakes transactions while getting buyers and sellers to the table on time and in good humor.
Elsa serves her community on the board of Celebrate Capitol Hill, the non-profit arm of CHAMPS, the Hill’s Chamber of Commerce. She also participates in local political and civic fundraising efforts. She lives north of Lincoln Park with her husband, Sam, and two kids, students at Basis DC and Maury Elementary.
Elsa started working in real estate in 2012. Previously she was director of communications at a national non-profit focused on preserving national historical collections, worked in sponsorship and event planning for the Tribeca Film Festival, and was a household manager for a philanthropist and art collector in New York. She graduated from St. John’s College in Annapolis, Maryland, in 1996.
