About Elsa
Elsa began her real estate career in 1991 by assisting in the development of a 122 new home subdivision in Brawley, California. Elsa was the sales manager, the real estate agent and marketing team all in one! She looks back at that time with great regard because she was able to learn the entire business from the ground up, literally, from the foundations to the roofs and everything in between. I started selling real estate shortly after I graduated from college,” said Benedict. “My mother was a REALTOR®, and I always admired her determination, extremely ethical practice and sincere concern for her clients. She took care of everyone with the same diligence, integrity and attention to detail. Following in her footsteps was a lucky move because I was able to learn from the best!”
Elsa grew up in Brawley, California. She is the daughter of farmers who grew watermelons, cantaloupe and various produce. Both of her grandfathers were farmers as well as her mother and father. Benedict volunteers at St Vincent De Paul Catholic School in Mission Hills, Calif. She has served as the Parent Teacher Association president and vice president.
Elsa worked as an independent broker for nearly 26 years before joining the corporate world of real estate. She had two offices in the Imperial Valley and another in the South Park neighborhood of San Diego. After graduating from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor’s Degree in Broadcasting, she became the weathercaster for KECY TV, which served the Imperial Valley, California and Yuma, Arizona. While running two real estate offices in the Imperial Valley, Elsa served as the Mayor of Brawley for two terms, and as a City Council member for one term.
“I believe what makes me unique in this business is that I’ve made selling real estate a lifestyle and I enjoy every aspect of the real estate industry. My true passion is to help my clients find the home of their dreams … what an honor it is to be involved in their journey!” said Benedict.
When she’s not working, you’ll find Elsa in the company of her greatest treasures, her children, Sam & Saylor. They spend a lot of time outdoors, either on the beach or searching for available tennis courts!
