I'm a Real Estate addict and sure someday there'll be a code for this in the Psychiatric nomenclature! I love what I do & these days you can find me practicing my craft at Compass in the DMV. Even after spending years working in the New York City real estate market, I must admit that the DMV is as challenging and enervating a place to be a realtor as is the Big Apple.
After graduating from New York University with a BA in Political Science and History and completing my graduate studies at Columbia University, I pursued careers in the advertising industry and in medical administration. And then my lifelong fascination with real estate prevailed and I started a real estate development company concentrating on single family properties in upscale markets in New York. This experience, combined with my years as a sales agent focusing on all aspects of the market including multi-unit developments in Manhattan, has provided me with a depth of experience and understanding that form the basis of the way I've been practicing my profession for these last 15 years here in the DMV.
Knowing the nuances of both the market and my clients' needs forms the framework of all interactions with and for my clients, be they buyers, sellers, developers or investors. I view each client's needs in relation to their individual long and short term financial and lifestyle goals offering an integrated approach to each transaction.
As an admitted workaholic I’m available by cell from 7:00am-11:00pm, text and email 24/7. I pride myself on being a rapid responder so If you don't hear back from me quickly, I'm probably out walking my latest rescue baby, a now 5 year -old Black Lab mix ,Evan or rather Evan is probably walking me!
I’m an avid supporter of Animal Rights Rescue Groups, HRC, equal rights for all and…the beach, books and film!
I'm proud to have been a member of the DCAR (District of Columbia Association of Realtors) Public Policy Committee for 12 years, as well as a member of the Affordable Housing subcommittee. Proud also to have been recognized as a Top Producer by Washingtonian Magazine and Northern Virginia as well.
