About Douglas
Douglas uses his past experiences in consulting and financial services to bring unique value to
his clients. A strong attention to detail and personal touch define how Douglas approaches his
business. He works to understand client needs and matches those needs to potential homes
and neighborhoods.
Douglas has experienced Washington from many neighborhoods that have been home through the years including Foggy Bottom, Glover Park, Capitol Hill, Friendship Heights, the West End and his current location in Dupont Circle. He is familiar with many other areas of the city as well and recognizes the uniqueness of each. He is excited with the changes that are making Washington an amazing and diverse place to call home whether it’s a studio in a glass high-rise or a renovated row house in an up and coming neighborhood.
Prior to his real estate career, Douglas worked at Fannie Mae and gained valuable insight into mortgage financing and the housing market. This experience also helped solidify his attention to detail and strong customer service focus working with all levels throughout the organization. He has experienced the ups and downs of the mortgage market and understands how important it is for clients to make the right decisions when buying or selling a home.
When not working with buyers and sellers, Douglas spends his time honing his cooking skills while entertaining friends and family. He spends as much time as possible with his dogs, Sundae and Camden, and he and his partner travel whenever there is an opportunity with Paris being a favorite city.
