I am hyper passionate about all things Compass!

Providing business development support to agents in the form of business planning, training, education and mentoring to increase productivity is my jam! After 33 years in the real estate industry, I also enjoy consulting, advocating and liaising for buyers and sellers by connecting them to the best tech savvy Compass real estate agent in their respective markets. 

I try to draw upon my 22 years as a top producing sales agent, my 6 years as a broker/owner of The Heddings Property Group, LLC. which conducted business in 6 markets in the Tri-State area, my role as a certified Department of State instructor and years as a member of the Board of Directors of the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY) to inform the business development support that I provide. I've been featured as a contributing writer for several publications, and thoroughly enjoyed my contributions on The Today Show, CNBC, Fox Business, The New York Times, Wall Street Journal and NY1 among others. I love spending free time with my wife Kate, a Contributing Editor of Food & Wine magazine and celebrated cookbook author, my awesome son Cole who works with The Chad Carroll Group of Compass Miami and my wonderful daughter Claire who is steeped in her studies at University of Michigan.
