"As natives of the Boroughs, the decision to move to Long Island came with a lot of fear and hesitation.  Throughout the years it was a topic of conversation and finally in October of 2018 we decided to make the move.  We were connected, by a friend, to a very reputable agent in Long Island that we started to work with.  Immediately we felt no connection to the agent but rode it out with her as the agent was pretty well known in the industry. To say the least we were completely disappointed in her professionalism, we felt that she wanted to rush us to purchase a home and didn’t listen to what we really were looking for.  Frustrations were high and we stopped working with her after four months of seeing houses.  

Since we were completely turned off at this point, we decided to not work with an agent but visit open houses on our own.  We saw a few homes this way and ended walking into an open house where we met Doreen.  Doreen was a breath of fresh air, knowledgeable, pleasant and instantly we felt a connection to her.  She asked questions to get to know us and what we were looking for and even connected with our teenage girls too!  I worked with Doreen for only about three weeks when she  found us our dream home. When we walked in the home, you could tell she did her research, she knew so much about the house  (even more than the listing agent) which says a lot, she wanted to make sure we were very informed as to every detail of the house in order for us to make a decision.  She followed through on everything, stayed on top of the builder to make sure he completed what was promised to us. She really went above and beyond to make sure the transaction went smoothly.   

As our girls grew up and were transitioning into college, we decided to downsize our home.  We of course contacted Doreen to sell our home and worked with Doreen to once again find us a modern beautiful home to fit our present needs.  She worked diligently and put so much effort in her work, always with a pleasant attitude and a smile on her face. We have recommended  her to many of our friends that were looking for an agent.  We feel that when you work with the best you get the best, needless to say that is Doreen.  Today we are not only her clients but happy to call her a dear friend. "

When it came time to close on both homes, Doreen’s expertise and experience recommended us a great lawyer and mortgage company, and I was able to close on the sale of my home on a Friday and close on my new home on Saturday.
