Client Testimonials

"You want Donna on your side! She is smart and perceptive, and a great listener. She quickly gets to the bottom of what you are looking for (she was able to help pinpoint our search after our first meeting, appreciating all the dynamics at play), and she won't waste your time. She knows how to read the room and as a result is a disarmingly savvy dealmaker. Plus, bonus, but no less important, she's oh so kind, interesting, and lots of fun to spend time with. I absolutely loved working with her, and my only disappointment when the deal was over and done was that my endless calls with Donna would soon be a thing of the past! Don't miss out on this gem of a broker! "
— Alison Y., Davis Square, Somerville

"A friend recommended that I talk to Donna when I was thinking about selling my home in Belmont to buy in Cambridge and I am forever grateful for that referral! Donna is an extraordinary realtor; she’s an incredibly savvy businesswoman and an extremely intuitive and thoughtful human being. Donna and I met for the first time in April and somehow, she managed to sell my home in Belmont and get my daughters and me into our new place in Cambridge in time for the first day of school. Completing both transactions on such a tight timetable required realtor super-powers and Donna made it look easy. Donna has an amazing network of contacts. She connected me with an excellent real estate attorney and an amazing mortgage broker. She lined up the home inspector to meet us during the open house and once I won the bid, she arranged for contractors to give me estimates for the small changes I wanted to make. Even now (several years later), I still contact Donna for referrals when house projects come up. Donna cultivates relationships with the best people and they are quick to respond to her clients because she always goes above and beyond for everyone she works with - clients and colleagues alike. Donna Marcantonio is excellence."

"Having to sell a beloved home where 33 years of memories had been made was something we were dreading. Donna made a very difficult and emotionally wrought process completely seamless. From start to finish she was there to hold our hands and guide us as we got it ready to stage and sell. When we were getting the house ready for the market, she suggested people to help us fix, paint and prepare it for viewings. She also helped us select the right time to put it on the market, and did an enormous amount of research to help us select a price point that honored the special place that it is but also encouraged people to come in and take a look. We had never sold a house before so we had a million questions and concerns. Donna never lost patience with us nor expressed any irritation. She worked tirelessly for us and we never felt rushed or pushed to make any decisions. She even had a booklet made of the flowers in our extensive garden to hand out at the open house. In the end, we had our home on the market for one day and sold it for 200K over asking price. I attribute that to Donna entirely. You just cannot have a better realtor than Donna Marcantonio. She will treat you like a friend and you cannot ask for better than that!"

"We feel incredibly lucky and grateful to have had the chance to work with Donna on our journey to find our first home. Over the course of more tan a year, Donna consistently went above and beyond to help us navigate a challenging market. Her patience, thoughtfulness, passion and work ethic stood out to us and made navigating the home-buying process so much easier and more enjoyable than it would have been otherwise. As a bonus, we genuinely enjoyed spending time with her (important when going to open houses and appointments most weekends!). We had a long and admittedly contradictory list of "must haves", but Donna worked hard to truly understand and narrow in on what was important to us. She never made us feel pressured to make offers when we were on the fence, which was really important to us.

Beyond all this, she helped us to be extremely strategic and tactical when it came to putting the winning offer in for a home that is a perfect fit for us. We couldn't recommend working with Donna more, and will look forward to working with her again in the future!"
