Jihye grew up in South Korea and immigrated to the U.S. when she was 13, and John is a native Houstonian. Although they had similar interests throughout their younger years — in academics, sports and their respective family businesses — the two didn't meet until joining Big Four accounting firm KPMG after college. Jihye and John later joined forces in the investment sector remodeling and renting properties and as the owners of Sara's Inn, Houston's longest-running and #1 rated boutique Inn.
