About David
A 5th generation builder, farmer and rancher, David Skeele has spent the last 4 decades growing his reputation in Hawaii as an honest, hardworking professional who goes "above and beyond". His wealth of experience and magnetic personality are evident and on display as he truly loves helping others to accomplish their goals. David has closed a wide array of transactions for everyone from inexperienced buyers and sellers to savvy investors with a remarkable work-ethic, which is reflected by his numerous Top Producer awards and the sincere appreciation of his diverse clientele. His dedication, craftsmanship and "no-shortcuts" approach also earned him notoriety as a licensed general-contractor whose quality of work went unsurpassed for over 3 decades.
David spent his childhood and teen years in upstate New York and Oregon where he worked on dairy farms and Southern California where he made a deep connection with the ocean. It's apparent he still embraces this connection as we talk about stand-up paddling and the 55 ft. gaff-rigged cutter he built with one of his brothers and some friends to sail around the world. After a 17 day voyage across the Pacific Ocean, David and his mates reached Hawaii where he fell in love with his future wife and decided to plant his roots.
To get a head-start on his new life in Hawaii, David began farming ginger and taro on the Hamakua Coast and continued his seasonal work in Alaska where he led his crew as a foreman on the world famous Trans-Alaska Pipeline. David then got licensed as a real-estate agent in 1980 and earned his broker's license in 1982. While discussing real-estate with him I've found David offers rare knowledge and advice that only a professional with his vast experiences could provide. His grasp of the current market on Hawaii island is exceptional and I'm sure you'd agree that his representation is of a premium value.
