David Winter

Dave has been a real estate agent in Montauk for over 23 years and fell in love with Montauk at an early age while spending summers on his family’s boat. Dave’s interest in real estate was sparked from his family doing business on the East End since the early 1950’s and his vast understanding of Montauk and the Hamptons.

Upon graduating from college Dave entered a very successful and rewarding career in fixed income and US treasuries, which he maintained for over 34 years. Dave was Senior Vice President and Head Trader at Dean Witter as well as Director at Barclays Bank US Treasuries before joining Deutsche Bank as a Director and Head Trader for US Treasuries. Throughout his career Dave has often been quoted in the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal on interest rate trends and continues to have a personal interest in banking.

Dave is an avid collector of wine and cars, having raced at the famous Bridgehampton race track, and is a lifelong member of AACA. Auctioneering has always been intriguing to Dave, so much so he pursued professional training and certification. Dave has used his certification as a professional auctioneer along with his passion for community service towards benefitting national charities and raised hundreds of thousands of dollars.
