About David

David Schlichter is the leader of the award-winning Schlichter Team at Compass in Denver. He joined Compass in 2019 after leading the #1 producing group in the #1 producing office in downtown Denver and was honored to be elected by fellow Denver REALTORSĀ® in 2020 to represent the Central Denver region on the Denver Metro Association of REALTORSĀ® Board of Directors.

In addition to directly representing clients and overseeing the team, David is an active investor in Denver residential real estate, coaches fellow real estate agents with Full Impact Coaching, a program he founded, and is frequently cited as a leading expert on the Denver residential real estate market in the news.

Prior to his career in real estate, David taught in the Denver Public Schools with Teach for America, organized the community around local and state education issues, served in Mayor Hancock's transition, and worked at the White House in the Executive Office of President Barack Obama. He was also an inaugural member of the Washington University in St. Louis Executive MBA program in Denver, earning his Masters of Business Administration while working full-time as a real estate agent in 2015.
