I have been representing clients and managing agents in the San Francisco residential real estate business for over 45 years.
I started selling residential real estate in 1978 and was mentored by Charles Moore in a start up called McGuire Real Estate. In 1994 I founded Ritchie Hallanan Real Estate ltd., a boutique real estate firm and grew it to over 35 agents in two offices. It was sold to Alain Pinel Realtors of Saratoga, Ca. in 2007.
In 2009 I founded Laurel Village Realtors and maintain a boutique firm at Laurel Village where I actively represent buyers and sellers.
I have a great reputation and take care and effort to cultivate working relationships with real estate agents throughout San Francisco. Our sales range from Telegraph Hill to Sea Cliff, Broadway to Mission Bay. It is more important today than ever to know who is on the other side of each transaction. Technology has changed how we market properties but it can’t eliminate the need for one to one relationships.
The market surge and activity today is unparalleled and there are many facets that create a successful agent. I believe that immediate access and accountability is key. I never take on more business at the expense of my clients.
I grew up in Presidio Heights in a large family with five siblings and enjoy the celebrity of being an identical twin. My grandmother was born in San Francisco’s fabled North Beach and my daughters are fourth generation San Franciscans. I graduated from St. Ignatius High School and the University of San Francisco. I live with my wife and two daughters in the Lake Street area.
