We met David after my father passed away. I am the trustee of my father's estate and I concluded that we needed to sell his home of over 22 years. David listened to our needs and designed a schedule around our comfort level. He impressed me the first day I met him with his down to earth approach and straight talk. He laid out a strategy on the very first day and basically said he could sell our home quickly. We live over 120 miles from the home that we sold and David kept us informed every step of the way. " We were in the market for a two-bedroom townhouse in the San Jose area, and we had been going to open houses to see what was available. We did not have an agent at the time, as we figured we would just get a feel for the market before jumping in. What we did not realize initially was how fast everything was selling - virtually every listing that popped up one week was sold the next. When we came across a property where we wanted to take the next step and potentially make an offer, we needed an agent in a hurry. We asked the seller's agent if they could provide a referral, and without any hesitation they referred David Mauldwin. David reached out to us immediately and provided excellent support throughout the process. He quickly came up to speed on the candidate property, reviewing all the disclosures and inspection reports, and he identified the items that were of most concern. He came up with cost estimates for fixing the items of concern, and answered all of our questions promptly and professionally. In addition, his knowledge of the area and local resources was invaluable. When we ultimately decided to make an offer (only a day later), David advised on how to make the offer the most appealing to the seller. He worked through all the logistics on a very tight schedule to ensure the myriad of offer details and forms were all handled properly and submitted on time - not an easy task in this fast-paced market.
