About David

David is an Atlanta native raised in Druid Hills. As the son of an architect, he has a passion for real estate, design, and providing clients with knowledge and understanding in their home-buying experience. Working with his mentor Kevin McGlynn, they have each enjoyed ā€˜Top Producer’ accolades from the Atlanta Realtors Association throughout his first three years in the business. Upon joining Compass, they formed McGlynn + Johnson, a team aimed at providing the highest level of service in every aspect of the real estate process.

Having graduated from the University of Georgia in 2010 with a degree in Business Management, he moved to Wyoming where he spent nine years in customer service and marketing. He served most recently as the Marketing Manager with Jackson Hole Mountain Resort and truly thought it was a ā€˜dream job’. David met his wife, Keri, also an Atlanta native while living in Jackson Hole.

When David is not working, he is found on the golf course, enjoying the outdoors, at the playground with his daughter, Bonnie, or on a walk with his beloved dog, Tucker. He is also passionate about cheering on one of the many Georgia sports teams. Now residing in Candler Park, just a few short minutes from his childhood home, he relishes the opportunity to share the neighborhood with you.

Despite changes in the real estate environment, M+J added enjoyed another successful year while developing another agent, Carey Glasscock, on their team. This addition was long overdue and has given Kevin and DJ a chance to focus more on developing relationships while Carey adds her design knowledge and accumen to listings. Heavier on listings in 2023 was the story as buyers were somewhat halted by increased interest rates.
